Our adventurers are traveling down a path that is rarely travelled. They end up at an inn called the Rusted Gorgon. They meet the inn keeper and his wife along with a few other workers but the inn is mostly empty and the Workers seem very interested about what's going on in other places of the world. The adventurers hear about the druid who lives in the Sere as well as the brushfires that have been happening lately. Suddenly during their dinner gnolls burst inside and take the stable hand. They threaten to hurt one of the cooks but are defeated by the adventurers. They notice that the gnolls eyes are glazed over and seem like they are entranced. As they head into the Sere, Truce notices a tree rustling and yells at it. then he charges towards it and a few soldier hop out of the blinds that were in the tree.
